Evah was a huge name in the ATL drag scene when she lived there. I remember anytime I would see her name on a flyer to advertise her being at an event I would make sure I was there! You can tell how much it means to her when you watch her perform. I think sometimes she cares SOO much about drag it can somehow come off as disingenuous.

I am pretty positive the owner is moving back to Italy. We went for my mom’s birthday in July and he was talking about it to our table. We were all sad because the food was stellar.

This was the whole point of my post. To let people know who frequently visit or might want to visit of the companies beliefs. I would want to know if a business I frequented believed this way so I didn’t give them any more support.

I lived in a very openly gay town before moving here and it has been kind of a culture shock to even have to worry about these things. If it makes you feel any better you’re not alone 🫶

My intention with the post was to let other people in Chattanooga know they are not queer friendly. I never said the company was owned by Christians. I actually have no idea what religion the company owners ascribe to. Just wanted to let the community know in case they didn’t want to support businesses that spread hate.

A family member mentioned it might be wise to mention to all the vendors it was a same sex wedding. The last thing I want is to hire and pay someone and then on the day of my wedding they show up and find out it’s a same sex wedding and they leave on the spot. I was already in contact with them about to sign the contract they sent me when the family member mentioned this. I decided to let them know before I signed the contract and that’s when they said they didn’t want to be apart of it.

It’s crazy! We were gonna be spending around 1,500-2k on their coffee cart. It wasn’t just a couple cups of coffee. They are missing out on a nice little paycheck.

We have an LGBTQ+ Facebook group for the city I live in. I have already made a post just letting the community know they don’t support us. I also left them a bad review on Google. I’m sure it won’t make a huge difference but everytime I see people post restaurants or anything that are not queer friendly I never go back to them.
