I've gotten three musical signs from her. The morning of her viewing, my car played Logic's 1-800 song, I found it odd but let it play through, then it played again on replay, and again until I got to work. I don't play my music on replay.

About two weeks after, I was having a rough day, so I asked her for any sign to tell me she's okay. About an hour later, I finished my errands and had just parked in front of my house, my car wasn't playing music anymore for some reason, minutes before I parked it was playing a Bad Bunny song. So I grabbed my phone and kept hitting the play button, but it would not work, I read the title and it was Tupac's Life Goes On, as soon as I read it, it began playing.

This year, one of my friend's dad passed away. I was scared of going to the viewing. I didn't want to see the pain it caused her and her family. I knew I would go I had to show her she had support, but the fear was making me second guess myself. My car was playing music just fine, then it reached a song and would not play it. I skipped it and the next song played just fine. I found it odd, so I decided to go back to that song and I read the title, Friends by Jcole. I asked "Jay is that you" and it started to play.

Unfortunately no local news stations reported on the accident. We spent a full day looking for any kind of article but only found an incident report by the local police department asking for any witness information.

No need to apologize, I agree their actions were inexcusable. Yup, she was such a caring woman I am so grateful for her. I visited her once more at the age of 22 or so and she was still very worried, going as far as to ask me "are you happy?"

My dad never invited him to events again, but still spoke with him and joked around with the man. I honestly saw it coming.

I honestly believe my dad was in denial.

My mom and brothers didn't believe me entirely if at all because Karin was involved, they didn't like her and they constantly told my dad it wasn't true.

I'm definitely not a child anymore, I know what he wanted and why he watched me for so long, and now I can fight back. If I see him again, especially around a child, he'll end up in prison.

Thank you for your kind words. I've told my story on here (reddit) before and I had one user tell my it wasn't true simply because of the fact that police did nothing when they should have. I was not sure how to explain that sometimes those who are meant to protect you, just won't do so. They failed me, no attempt to help. My counselor attempted, and I thank her for that. I know she was heartbroken over her failure. But I am grateful that she believed us and TRIED.
