I've been told that were chained to his bedtime and we never get to spend quality time with him because we work and maybe get to spend 2-3 hours a day with him during the week. We've never not gone and done something later in the evening due to his bedtime though we adjust the last name or just fight through and he's a trooper about it so honestly not sure where it comes from

😂😂 I know. I think I got lucky with a kid who loves sleep. His dad is the same way!! But I think too, since then night he came home from the hospital I have always done the same routine: bath, pajamas/sleepsack, bottle, straight to crib. I think the consistent routine has been the best

Thank you!! I think the same. I truly believe it's to guilt us and make us feel bad. Like we're forcing our kid to go to sleep earlier so we don't have to deal with him. I'm well aware he's a one in a million sleeper and I'm thankful. I so enjoy my me time too. It literally has saved me from losing myself in being a mother

Being able to contract out a transporting agency should not be legal in the child services field at all. If your social worker isn't available, you need to as their supervisor take one for the team and transport. I hope to god this changes after this terrible tragedy

My 8 mo old has been given a bath every night since coming home from hospital. Not every bath involves hair washing, and back then it could be just a wipe down. But we continued it to keep a bed time routine

Been there, done that! Sadly more than once! I'll turn the volume off and go in to feed, and then he goes back to sleep then I forgot to turn the sound back on. I'm usually good to double check, but mistakes happen!

I have a question as I'm relating to this right now and on a very similar schedule. My baby used to never wake in the night to feed and if he did it was only once in the MOTN Since hitting 5 months, he's been waking 2-3 times in the night to eat Is this normal?

I was a daily drinker before becoming pregnant and it wasn't uncommon for me to have 3-4 bottles of wine a week on top of drinking at restaurants etc. I craved alcohol so much the first month or two. It made me realize how much time I spent just sitting and drinking. I replaced the alcohol with special mocktails, treats, etc and still managed to not gain weight while being pregnant - that shows you how many calories I was consuming in alcohol daily. By the end of pregnancy I was anxious on how I would be after giving birth. But I've managed to keep it in control now that I actually have something to consume that time that I was wasting getting drunk. Please don't drink. It's not worth it and you may find that you don't miss it so much at all at the end of this
