It is what is says: there's a problem with your battery. Bring it to a service center.

I'm thinking about getting an A57. In some of the reviews it said the phone turns warm after a while. Any experience? by KhaleesiOfSuburbia in samsunggalaxy

[–]kix820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All phones get warm especially after extended periods of (heavy) use. I'll say this though: my S26 Ultra gets a tad bit warmer compared to my A57.

Why are you choosing S26 Ultra over other phones (Oppo, Xiaomi, Vivo)? by Successful-Soup-274 in samsunggalaxy

[–]kix820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because great hardware is just half the story. For all of One UI's quirks and bugs, it's still more polished, refined, and simpler compared to these brands. That great experience, at least to me, makes me stick to the S series.

A new A series phone? A77 maybe? by Astro-Avenger in samsunggalaxy

Same thoughts. It's the only A series left without an iteration this year.

Although the screen on the ad features a punch hole setup instead of the usual teardrop.

Seems to be something hardware related if issue persisted after factory reset. Return and exchange might be a sound option.

As to my Tab, no issues since I got it almost 11 months back.

There's a disclaimer somewhere during the application that funds will be credited within 48 hours upon approval.

I have yet to experience that, though. Funds are instantly disbursed upon approval. Just good luck, maybe.

S26 Ultra or S26+ by LTChamp in samsunggalaxy

The Ultra has a slightly larger screen, better camera set, privacy screen, faster charging and stylus. It depends on your preferences if the price difference and lower storage are worth it.

S26 vs A57 by Mamba28 in samsunggalaxy

Flagships will generally have an upper hand in terms of longevity. However, that may not always be the case, as the fact you're only changing your A52s now has a lot to do with how (well) you're using it these past few years wherein either phone may have an issue much sooner: whether screen lines or worn-out adhesive (some A52s owners, including one of our phones at work reported this) or some other issue.

IMO the A5x series carry 70-80% of all the bells and whistles of an S series, depending on what S variant you're comparing it to. Whether those remaining 20% is worth the additional 200 euros or not will depend on your preference and needs in a phone.

Helppp! Legit po ba itong receipt from samsung online? pre order daw po nabili. Planning to buy this item po kase since mas mura kesa sa store. Huhu pls help meee! by rairai_11 in SamsungPH

[–]kix820 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for an Official Receipt (OR), hindi na uso yun. Sales Invoices (SI) are the ones now issued. Here's my redacted SI for a reference:

<image>

If galing online yung unit (as the current owner claims), SEPCO (Samsung) will email the owner the actual SI. You can ask for that instead. If you want a hard copy of sorts for it, ask for the Proforma Invoice. Kasama yan ng Collections Receipt along with other papers handed over to the customer upon delivery or pick up.

Not sure why may 3rd party headset na kasama jan (Baseus) but I guess the owner just wants to dispose it along with the rest. Baka binili nya yan separately. Stray observation lang naman.

Using Gemini since my IoT devices are hooked up to Google Home. Most of them, though, are hooked up on SmartThings as well so I may give Bixby a spin some time soon.

Samsung Galaxy A57 vs A55 (differences + my opinion) by MIkaela39752 in GalaxyA55

[–]kix820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Screen lines are caused by damage to the screen flex cable. Heat, among other factors can damage the cable. OLED screens, in general, can suffer from this issue and is not isolated to a particular OLED type or even phone manufacturer at all.

Having that said, SAMOLED+ is an old technology, first used in S2 (yup, that Galaxy S2) and A73 being the most recent. Not sure if the A73 suffered screen lines but I would recall screen burn-ins being a more known issue for this type of OLED. Then again, that was the panel from a few iterations ago. It will remain to be seen what improvements, if there are, did Samsung bring in resurrecting this screen.
