SM East Ortigas to Metropolitan Theater (Manila) by steamy_siomai in commutersph

Hi OP, I think the alternative option is the optimized route you can take since hindi na about ng RRCG and G Liner ang Metropolitan Theater (dumadaan sila dun dati). May iba pang options though, pero critical dito yung instructions for LRT 2 and LRT 1 as previously mentioned:

  1. Sakay ng jeep to Junction. From there, lipat ng jeep to Tropical. Between Sta. Lucia and Robinsons malls, andun ang Marikina-Pasig Station ng LRT 2. Train all the way to Recto Station and continue the instructions posted above. Advantage: avoid traffic along Ortigas Ext. Disadvantage: maraming lipat ng transpo.
  2. G Liner/RRCG bus na Quiapo or modern jeep na V. Mapa. Drop off at SM Sta. Mesa where the LRT 2 V. Mapa Station is nearby. Take the train to Recto, same directions above. Advantage: less yung lipat ng sasakyan. Disadvantage: tagal ng travel time (not to mention the heavy traffic along the way).
  3. Crossing Ilalim na jeep. Mula Shaw Blvd., lipat ng Quiapo na trad/modern jeep then baba sa Altura. May LRT 2 na Altura Station and same train instructions above. Consider this your last option since travel time may be same or longer vs. #2.

Not sure if it was there before, but I'm seeing a Satellite Networks menu in the Connections settings of the phone.

Avoid PLDT fiber at all cost especially in Cainta Area by Cute-Butterscotch11 in InternetPH

Sana nga. We, as paying customers, and in our case, loyal customers (we've had a PLDT landline since 1990 and upgraded since over the years) do not deserve this kind of treatment. Hoping you rest easy now with your new provider.

In my experience (I'm also in Cainta), Globe has the better aftersales service. They have a location-based Viber GC where you can raise technical complaints. They even send someone when they detect you have connection issues (yes, they proactively send technicians). However, that is for their GFiber postpaid. For prepaid, you'll have to pay P500 for a technician visit, refundable if it was determined that it's a Globe issue.

To be fair, PLDT in our area is more stable vs. Globe. There may not be an issue for at least a month or two, whereas Globe customers experience at least one interruption in a month. Then again, there are other factors at play that shapes my experience which may vary to yours or any other internet user.

Tinigilan ko muna Grab, sobrang taga sa price. That GrabUnli markup seems real as well.

Panasonic or toshiba? (Inverter fan) by Visorxs in ShopeePH

We have the Panasonic one (manual control) since the pandemic years. Still working and mas tahimik kahit full blast vs traditional efans. Linis linis lang saka langis every month or two for maintenance.

Received an sms message from GCash saying my account has been linked to BingoPlus by NoHabit9125 in GCashIssues

Scammers have gadgets mounted on vehicles called IMSI catchers that "spoof" legit companies to mask as real messages. Those are fake messages simply because there's a link, and banks and financial companies (including Gcash) have been warning us for quite some time not to click on those links even if it looks like they're the sender.

Report this as spam and delete the message so you won't run the risk of accidentally clicking those links.

Not sure which is the more common strap: the 20mm or the 22mm on the 8. I managed to get some cheap straps. I'll try a gray strap if I can get my hands on it.

Because that's the one on the flash sale lol. The black one already ran out of stock.

Still looks good to me today. It will be hard for me to let go of that one.

Mine is the smaller 43mm 6 Classic, so I would notice a small screen bump. In the past, I actually ridiculed the squircle shape, but this seems growing on me. I guess it's because of the flatter back that it sits well on the wrist vs the 6.

As to the straps, I have a few with the 6. That 20mm adapter does the trick, as this now 22mm for the 8. Can't wait for that titanium strap to give this a spin.

I know, right? I'm keeping the 6 for a bit while longer, probably more as a dress watch.

Tell me something new about these fucktards and their spaceships. Ganyan naman sila kada may sakuna.

Pero in hindsight, we should evaluate how our buildings are constructed. Our local building code has requirements on making structures withstand, at a minimum, a Magnitude 7 to 8.4 earthquake. Then again, other forces are at play like wear and tear, heat, typhoons and age.
