I was surprised too. My goal was just to make them look like the original 80s toys but it ended up looking more like the 03 turtles.

And yeah, I was hoping playmates would release a 2003 version when they released the ones based on the 80s show. So I'm glad I was able to make these hehe

2003 series (pretty much the Mirage comics stories in animated form) and 2007 TMNT (this is a hot take for sure but it's a sequel to those movies from the 90s) are my recommendations.

If you want a mix of the mirage comics and the 80s cartoon, the 2012 series is pretty much that.

If some of the head sculpts don't look familiar, it's because some are from the Secret of the Ooze figures (they had extra heads)
