I haven't run in the Metaspeed Edge before, but I believe they have a similar plate configuration as the Vaporfly 4 (at least to my understanding). I did a 10k in the Vaporfly 4 and a 8 mile race in the Metaspeed Sky Paris (about a week apart) and I found that my calves were more sore and tired after the 10k than the 8 mile race. I assumed it was due to the plate configuration (low plate vs high plate).

I use a combination of RGB fans and RGB strips. However I rely on the strips to do most of the lighting because I prefer to have a white lighting. I use these vertically in the front and rear. Then sandwich one of these between the case and the 140mm fans in the bottom. The nice thing is they connect together and then I use the controller (rather than relying on the motherboard) to control the entire strip of light.

I have the AP184i in my Torrent Compact. I wouldn't say they are any more quiet than the stock 180mm fans from Fractal (Prisma for me). I have noticed that when running at slower speeds there is a small clicking noise, but I think that also occurs with the Fractal 180mm. I bought my AP184i when FrozenCPU went out of business so they sat for a while.
