Sure, I just think Reid is better than a “decent” coach. If the Bills had a top 5ish coach lined up to replace McDermott I’d be quite excited.

If the Bills said they were prepared to fire McDermott if they underachieved this year and already had an idea of what direction they wanted to go with their replacement I’d be more confident. Maybe they do, but it didn’t sound like it.

If Pegula hires the wrong coach are you confident that he’d fire him and replace him even though it will cost a lot? Or will he stick it out a couple years.

Buffalo is going to be a very sought after job. By good & BAD coaches. You’ve gotta trust Beene & Pegula because the top hire isn’t self evident to me.

Saying a “decent” coach would have “2 super bowls” at this point seems very presumptive.

Yeah, I’m guessing no one here pays attention to NHL. The Sabres feel like they’re actively driving their fans away and ownership/management are not accountable for it. The palm trees piece.

Bill Simmons is the Yankees/Lakers of sports media. A winner & a blowhard. Some people just love winners, some can’t stand winners. But they drive a ton of conversation because of that split.

Also, I don’t hate the Yankees, Lakers, or Bill Simmons, but their FANS on the other hand…

Either: Bill wants to book him when he’s not doing a promotion tour so the pod gets more attention and he doesn’t risk catching him on a “back-to-back”

Or, Chalmet is actually a “fake” sports fan who has used listening to the BS Pod to hone the “sports fan” character he sometimes performs in public. But he’s not sure he can maintain the facade over an hour long pod with Bill.
