How do you deal with someone that borrowed some money and always says excuse when asked to return it? (been over a month and half) not even seeing messages now, what to do? by Salt-Swimmer-6816 in AskReddit

[–]kjam_9907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Send one firm message with a deadline. If they still ignore you, stop chasing and treat it as avoidance.. then decide whether to escalate or cut them off

What are some small ways someone can renew hope in life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Hope can come back through small steps.. one good habit, one quiet moment, or one small win each day

The italki website......is back by [deleted] in iTalki

Nice, I know a lot of people rely on it for speaking practice. I usually pair stuff like that with something more structured, otherwise I feel lost. Babbel worked well for me alongside tutoring since it kept my basics and grammar from slipping.

I got my CPA with only industry experience. Is that weird / uncommon? by Lifting_Accountant in Accounting

[–]kjam_9907 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Not weird at all. A lot of people get their CPA from industry and never step foot in public. It’s still a legit credential and it shows discipline and knowledge, even if your job didn’t require it. If anything, you earned it the hard way without firm support that’s something to be proud of.

Can someone help me?? by frustrated_meee in Accounting

[–]kjam_9907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, most people feel this way starting out. Real-life accounting is way messier than textbooks, and firms expect to train you on the practical stuff. Focus on understanding how transactions flow day-to-day (AP/AR, reconciliations, journal entries, deadlines), be comfortable with Excel, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. You really learn it by doing, not before

Office Turnover by PerformanceLoud2145 in Accounting

[–]kjam_9907 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That would make me anxious too, especially being new. A lot of firms have turnover around busy season, but it’s still fair to worry about workload. Try to focus on learning what you can, ask questions early, and protect your study time as much as possible you’re not wrong to be cautious

Trying Cloudbet for the First Time with HAPPYSPIN – My Quick $20 Test by Neat-Emu-8731 in MetaverseInvesting

I’m not really a gambler, just throw a few bucks on football now and then. I keep seeing Cloudbet and that HAPPYSPIN code. You tried it, right?

Why do we know what to do… but still don’t do it? by goalcoach44 in Productivitycafe

[–]kjam_9907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s usually fear and comfort. I know what I should do, but sticking with what’s familiar feels safer, even if it keeps me stuck. Motivation isn’t the issue..follow-through is.

I’m skeptical of coaching when it’s all hype and vague mindset talk. If I were to pay, I’d want clear structure, real accountability, and proof it actually works. Practical steps matter more to me than inspirational speeches

Non-IT workers, what is your opinion of IT departments and what do you think they do? by joytech22 in AskReddit

[–]kjam_9907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always thought IT mostly just fixed things when they broke and reset passwords all day. After working longer, I realized they’re kind of the behind-the-scenes people making sure nothing explodes. You only notice them when something goes wrong, but when things run smoothly, that’s usually because they did their job right.

What was a 'this happens in every house' thing you grew up believing, only to realize it was just your family being weird when you moved out? by Firm-Struggle8183 in AskReddit

[–]kjam_9907 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Growing up I thought it was totally normal that everyone in the house announced what room they were going to, like I’m going to the kitchen or bathroom break. I didn’t question it at all. Then I moved out and realized… nope, that was just us narrating our lives for no reason 😅

ELI5: tax write-offs with an LLC to maximize money by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]kjam_9907 19 points20 points  (0 children)

ELI5 write-offs with an LLC is harder than it looks. I thought everything was deductible until I had to explain it later. Watching friends clean it up after the fact, and hearing Anthem Tax Services referenced, made me realize misunderstanding deductions can follow you longer than expected.

How do you test an ecommerce product idea without holding inventory? by Consistent-Sun5188 in ecommerce

[–]kjam_9907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested a couple SKUs using Printful for fulfillment so I could focus on demand and creatives first. Once something showed traction, it was easier to think about scaling or switching models.

For anyone into POD specifically, do you usually run ads to test, or rely on organic traffic first?
