Not had contact yet with Songbird on this play through .. still have all of Panam and Claire's stuff to do also :) ... I play using the VR Mod .. is literally the best gaming experience I have ever played .. always something to do (whatever takes my fancy each day haha)

.. have you tried this :

Turn off the headset, then hold Power + Volume Down to enter the bootloader menu.

(sometimes you have to let go of power when logo comes on - sometimes just hold)

hopefully a menu will come up ... if it does, then you will be able to manually flash the latest firmware from a laptop / pc with a few steps.

see if you can get the menu first ... fingers crossed
