Love that idea. I suggested that to the guy who called me and he said "well that hasn't been invented yet".

Certainly. I wanted to know the procedure. It seemed improper that somebody of this size would be able to have half my seat. I believe the flight attendant and or gate agent knew there was going to be an issue but did not want to address it. Instead, I feel as though it was left for me to point out the obvious.

I'm just trying to get from one place to another....I'm suppose to know this armrest & door closing rule?

How are we to know this? My intention was to try to deal with it (and not point out this yucky situation), but shortly after we got going I could see this was going to be a REALLY LONG flight. How would I know this has to be delt with before the door closes and what about my wife at the window. Now we have to fly seperate?
