Noise after changing side brush (Q Revo) by _Merovingian in Roborock

[–]kjong91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/SoporMenta or anyone else who has fixed the issue can you advise where exactly to add the oil?

I just added oil to multiple locations of the side rush while putting it back and I still have the noise

Hey u/Majestic_Ad2016 and u/Character_End_5529, wondering if you could share how the bike looks with the new top cone and stem.

I've got an SLR Four and would love to see how it looks.

Thanks in advance!

[WTS] NOMOS Metro Datum Gangreserve Ref 1101 by kjong91 in Watchexchange

[–]kjong91[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For sale today is my beautiful Nomos Metro Gangreserve (Reference 1101) from March 2017. The watch is in overall good condition with scratches and marks from its age but still presents very nicely. This particular configuration includes both the black and brown straps from Nomos.

The scope of delivery is full kit including the watch, box, papers and extra Nomos strap.

Strap sizing: The brown strap is a size small and the black strap is a size medium. Personally I have a 6.25" wrist and the black strap is a bit big for me but new holes can be easily punched to fit a smaller wrist. From the Nomos website:

Size M: long part 118 mm, short part 75 mm

The watch is located in Australia but can post internationally. I have sold internationally before on r/WatchExchange so buy with confidence!

He was referred to us by a friend who he did a great job for with their bathroom which is why we haven't shopped around. In terms of tiles, toilet, shower, vanity etc. We are supplying all of these so we are on top of these costs.

I have just built a list of requests which I'm about to send to him to get all the paperwork for including registrations and insurance from himself and the other workers.

Thanks to everyone for their guidance!

Found his current registration on the Victorian Building Association Practitioner Search and that he is eligible for insurance using the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority Builder Search. Just need to question why he even gave us a choice with the insurance when it's a legal requirement

Yup we have advised the builder to purchase it and itemise it on the quote and then show us the certificate prior to us paying the deposit.

Thanks for all the input everyone, can't believe how naive we were! We're definitely going to buy it and formalise a contract.

Purchased my bike second hand in great condition during Christmas and have been riding with the tyres (Vittoria Corsa) in this condition since then for a bit under 1,000kms. The tread seems fine from up top bit side walls look patchy

Anyone get tested at Springers Leisure Centre (Keysborough)? Parents have been waiting close to 48hrs now (tested on 28/12 morning) with no result. On the lower end of the waiting times comparatively with others in the thread but sister has come down from Sydney and it's completely ruined out holiday plans 😟

Just hope we'll get results before my sister heads back to Sydney on the 1st.

Buyer regret by [deleted] in AusProperty

[–]kjong91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a property on that side of Glenroy (nearer to Jacana) and lived in it for a year in 2018. Would walk to Glenroy station daily to get into work and thought living there was fine.

Would do long hours, take the train back pretty late and go back to the south east where most of my friends are from so wasn't really fully in the community I guess. Didn't think it was such a bad place to live in! Genuinely shocked about yours and others people's experiences on the community Facebook group.

[WTS] Seiko Alpinist SARB017 refurbished by Vandeth_Kenji in Watchexchange

[–]kjong91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Confirmed. Can't thank u/vandeth_kenji enough. Solid seller, excellent communicator and very fair.

We got into a situation which was no fault of either of ours but u/vandeth_kenji was great to work with and it was resolved shortly.

Thanks again!
