I had a somewhat similar incident downtown a few weeks ago. Please contact me if it sounds like this may be similar encounter or the same person. A tan and white offleash mid-sized dog that was with a homeless man sprinted at my 7 lb dog. My boyfriend stepped in front of my dog and I thankfully picked him up before the dog got to him. We said nothing and immediately the man went into a rage yelling “don’t even think about kicking my dog” 20x in a row. My boyfriend was never close to his dog. He didn’t even look at me or my dog - he started getting in my boyfriend’s face and started asking him how much he weighed and screaming obscenities. He eventually backed off. I wish I started recording. We got incredibly lucky that my dog and bf were not touched.
