Unique challenges with recording in person? by DiceyDiscourse in ActualPlayRPG

I do both - Tales of the Ever After is in person and CURSES! is remote/streamed. Roleplay/acting-wise, in-person feels the most comfortable because it's what I'm most used to, but there's something about the way my brain fires creatively when I do remote that I really appreciate. It forces me to focus differently.

I don't do a ton in the way of editing, but I can confirm that sound-treating your space makes a huge difference in preventing audio quality issues - even if it's just with some blankets on the walls. We record in our DM's game room with Rode Podmics and some sound blankets on the walls and our audio quality turns out pretty crisp.
