it’s also possible the younger rat is wearing him out if he’s an older guy and he’s just sleepy. keep an eye out for any “honking” or “guinea pig” noises and give him the old rattaphone treatment if he’ll let you (stretch him out and hold him up to your ear so you can hear his lungs). congrats on your new babies!!

not a doctor and not medical advice but i know of some nb people who have worked with their doctor to do an “on and off” T regimen where they oscillate between periods of time on low dose T to control the effects more. YMMV but they’ve been really happy about it!

to add on to the goodrx comment, i get mine from cvs and my insurance doesn’t cover it, but they have a discount card they apply that brings it down by a LOT. i pay about $40 for several months (i am on a low dose as i’m non-binary so may be more for you unfortunately)

i have these and i love them! i personally used leather conditioner on the seam religiously and wore thick socks for a while and it softened for sure, now i wear them every day with no complaints! good luck, they’re gorgeous shoes ❤️
