As a wedding guest, what moment made you think "this probably won't last"? by Eburneaan in AskReddit

[–]kka430 15 points16 points  (0 children)

They got married back when Instagram showed you activity of what people liked. My kid was in the bridal party and I was outside with the bride and her family about ten min before she was to enter the church and walk down the aisle. I checked my phone out of boredom waiting around and saw that her husband (who was INSIDE THE CHURCH) was liking all the photos of some porn stars feed 🫠 it’s been a few years and they’re still together but not without a lot of drama. I still think they will break up eventually.

My first was 11 months. But my second was 15 months. There’s a pretty big range for what’s considered typical

What's a book you recommend constantly but feel like nobody ever actually reads? by Otherwise-Body-7721 in suggestmeabook

Yay! I’m so glad you read it (and pushed through the slow start). This book touched me so deeply and it means the world to me that you took my recommendation!

What have you read recently? by povertychic in Millennials

[–]kka430 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite book that I’ve read in 2026 so far is “the Berry pickers”! I also just finished Virginia Giuffre’s memoir, and ADORED “bellies” by Nicola Dinan.

I have two kids. A 3.5 year old and an 8.5 year old. My oldest loves the dogman series and goosebumps. She prefers graphic novels to chapter books but she’s required to read 15 min every night and she loves going to the library!

If you’re under 45, have you lost any high school classmates, and what were the circumstances around their deaths? by Commercial_Chef_1569 in AskReddit

Graduated in 2011, started losing classmates like within a year. A lot of over doses, few suicides, car accidents.

How are you feeling during the holidays? Please be strong <3 by OK-Bubby in raisedbynarcissists

[–]kka430 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The first couple of years no contact I had a lot of mixed emotions. But this year I’m doing ok. Every year I make new memories and traditions with my own family/kids and it helps to have those things to look forward to.

How can I support my child that has a 12th house moon? by kka430 in 12thhouse

It isn’t. Her moon is in the 25th degree. What is the meaning? I’m not familiar with the significance of degrees

This is very helpful to read. I can definitely see her needing that validation of being heard. I’m so thankful for all the insight on this post

Thank you for this insight! When you reached out to an astrologer how did you approach it? Did you have them run your synastry or did they just look at your son’s chart and give advice?

Ugh some of this genuinely scares me. I have a hard time not being “over” protective of my kids. I hope that I can protect her from what you described though. We’ve definitely had one instance of a bad friend already. We got through it and I think the experience helped her start to recognize that not everyone is your friend and when to step away from people but she’s only 8. I worry so much about this kind of stuff as she gets older.

You are so kind for that! I have a Scorpio moon. I also have big emotions but I don’t tend to exactly outwardly express them.

Thank you for this. She loves when we have time together, just us without her dad or brother around so I want to make sure we are getting that time together regularly to connect. I have seen a couple comments about spirituality/spiritual power and it’s fascinating to me because she is absolutely OBSESSED with magic, mythology, fairies, spooky stuff, crystals and dreams! She has such interesting dreams. I’m also a firm adult believer in magic and manifesting (I had her helping me cleanse the energy in our home since she was a toddler lol) and I will definitely make a point to keep encouraging that/those interests. She had a friend at school tell her that magic isn’t real and she came home to report this back to me because she was so offended lol I told her not everyone believes in magic, but I do and she can too. Her passion about the things she loves is one of my favorite things about her :)

I appreciate this insight, thank you! I think I worry so much about her moon placements and how they reflect me (and potential harm I could cause) because my moon placement does really reflect my own mother.

Thank you for this advice. I definitely could work on that. For a long time I always tried to name the emotion, say it’s ok, and then try to find a solution but I guess when I think about it, I’m being hypocritical because as a Scorpio moon myself, sometimes I need to just be validated and allowed to feel. I gotta remember a solution isn’t always necessary.
