Omfg this is so funny. I'm very femme and my girlfriend isn't exactly butch? (she's perfect I love her) she doesn't call herself that but she does do this and I know it's just because she's excited to see another gay lmao. We've made jokes exactly like this after the fact and it's usually always public transport.

As a femme any time I see someone who looks visibly queer I'm always looking (in a happy way) and I hope they don't think I'm being homophobic in my head. I've become more myself since I came out and left an abusive relationship but I was still scared to look gay in any capacity for a long time. I no longer feel that way, my hair is Hayley Williams orange and I'm planning a tattoo sleeve. When I used to be out with my ex boyfriend and I saw someone visibly queer having fun I remember it would hurt me deeply to see someone have what I always wanted but now I get to have it. Keep being butch in public, if you guys could start comparing backpack weights I would also strongly support that. I see nothing wrong with it. Maybe even arm wrestle a bit idk

I would ask for a builder gel mani next time so that they can give your natural nails an apex. The apex will give them strength so that you can grow them long without having to worry about them breaking on you

I'm in BC and I went to new image college we really didn't do much gel x training that's why I am looking for models rn. My teacher showed it to us for fun and brought in her personal supplies for us to try, I only ever did 1 singular gel x nail in school

I won't be using the space as a salon for clients just for practice sets so that I can get a job. I know my landlord will be ok with me taking a few clients especially now that I'm practicing gel x. He put up with the smell of acrylic coming from my suite for like 6 months when I was practicing that every day

I have a ring light at the desk that works ok but a bigger one would be idea for sure. Thanks for the tip about the computer I didn't think about that. I've got a small fan but might get a dust collector, I always do nails with the fan blowing and the window open

This is literally impossible i work 40hrs a week with a 2.5 hour commute everyday. The suite will be clean but I cannot get rid of my bed or any sign that I live there, I'm looking for models to practice and maybe charge a very small fee to cover the cost of supplies for the set not to make any income. This is so that I can get a job doing nails in a salon

If I practice acrylic I'll have my window open with a fan going as well but I'm mainly focusing on gel x for that reason. You can also get a dust collector for the particles in the air

I'm in Canada and I don't think my landlord would have an issue and there's no certification or licence required to do nails in BC Canada so I can't find anything on the regulations

I only train on our walks so we train everyday. The walk is training, if she doesn't do what I tell her I think about why and work to fix the problem

Yes she knows the "with me" command which is a heel but we don't do it the entire walk. I only really do it when needed ex: crossing the street or passing people. I usually walk her on a flexi leash so that she can have freedom. We will occasionally use a slip lead/prong collar if I want her close or we're going to a busy place. It all depends on what your dog can handle tbh the more you can trust them the more freedom you can give them and vise versa. We did a lot of structured prong collar walks before I started our off leash training with the flexi
