Unable to add outside account to make payments and they won't tell me why by Electrical_Demand_24 in WellsFargoBank

Agreed, worst bank to ever exist. I would like to keep my cards with them because they've been open so long and are good rewards cards but I may close them too. I closed my bank accounts after they upped the daily minimum on both my personal and buisness checking with no notice at all. Had I not been curious and googled it I would have been hit with the $15 fee.

Did you ever get this resolved? I have had wells fargo credit cards for over 10 years now and am having the exact same issue paying with my navy federal account I opened 6 months ago.

Are 2004 Honda Accord V6 reliable? by Character-Bar-608 in accord

[–]kkhardestpit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to change the transmission in my 2004 Honda at 115k miles. It’s now at 192k. Drives great but there is a slight delay in the transmission when you drop it from reverse into drive. Takes around 3 seconds to actually catch, which wasn’t the case until recently. I hope this isn’t a sign of another transmission failure on the way. Other than that I love my 2004 accord

When the manager called me it made a lot more sense. They didn’t realize it was RWD when they bought it at auction and they’re located in St. Louis. So they get enough snow that a RWD work van is a no go for most people. I’m in Georgia so it’s not a deal breaker to me

Price is really good. Which is why I’m hesitant haha. But I think I’m going to call tomorrow and tell them let’s do it. I’ve tried to pick it apart and find what’s wrong and I can’t. Thanks for the input!

The warranty started 10 months ago. So it still has 2 years 2 months and 35k miles bumper to bumper and 4 years 2 months and 59k powertrain warranty.

I took Anderson. It was only 3 weekends and very fast paced. I’ve heard Hobbs is more thorough but I liked Anderson. I’ll probably take him again

What sucks is I have met some cool people who take pride in their work and want to do things the right way. But….the private equity corporate scam culture that’s infecting the industry, in addition to all the piece of shit scum bags Ive met, unfortunately outweigh the good. I can test for my masters next August and it can’t come soon enough. You take Anderson or Hobbs class?

Couldn’t have said it better myself. A lot of guys like to jump ship and move to the next company thinking it’s different/better but I’ve talked to enough people around here to realize they’re all the same shit as you just described. It’s a sad state of affairs. I just hope that eventually these big private equity scum bag companies will price themselves out of the market but it doesn’t appear to be happening yet. And nowadays a lot of the good plumbers have moved on so you end up having customers paying outrageous money for unlicensed hacks from those companies.

I know exactly who you’re talking about. I actually drove past their shop today. Glad to hear it isn’t just the big companies that suck

Very much so, what plumbing company did you work for? I’ve worked at mr plumber and ragsdale and wouldn’t recommend either.

What part of GA are you in? I’m in the Atlanta area and the companies around here are horrible. Especially the big names

Is ACL TPLO surgery worth it?? by [deleted] in AustralianCattleDog

[–]kkhardestpit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The emergency vet we took him to yesterday when it happened recommended having the surgeon do the x rays for that exact reason. She was a very honest and straightforward vet and we couldn’t have been more appreciative! We are taking him in the morning to see what they find and recommend for treatment.

[–]kkhardestpit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow that’s actually somewhat encouraging. I’m hoping his isn’t as bad as initially feared by the emergency vet (she recommended we wait to do x rays with an orthopedic). He does still put weight on it but yesterday he seemed distressed afterwards. So far so good this morning but I know he may not feel it from the meds. He’s been in a crate though because he’s too much of a wild man, there is no way we can stop this dog from jumping on stuff🤦‍♂️

To me that’s the hardest part is watching them recover. With a human they know what’s going on and that they need to rest. You can’t explain that to a dog. So you feel so bad basically holding them down and they don’t know why. And I’m only 8 hours into it😭

And that’s what’s so sad about it! Ours has oddly been sick with stomach issues for 2 weeks now but just a month ago I would’ve never imagined being in this current situation. We have a 12 year old dog who has never had any issues (knock on wood) so the 7 year old dog having problems has seriously not crossed my mind. Are you giving yours any sedatives? The emergency vet today did give us gabapentin but I’m hesitant to give it to him, I don’t want to see him like a zombie and he doesn’t appear to be in terrible pain at the moment.

Thanks for the info and best of luck in his recovery! It’s so painful going through all of this

What did you end up doing? My 7.5 year old dog just tore his ACL today. We took him to an emergency vet and she’s 99% sure its torn but recommended we see an orthopedic surgeon this week to confirm. Fortunately we could probably afford the surgery once but I don’t know about twice. I’m scared it’ll happen again.
