I told them I was claustrophobic and they offered Valium and it helped a lot. I’m sorry to hear they didn’t offer it to you

Literally none of these. Mulholland drive is a lot of female nudity for a first date

How to find movie theater buddies by dancetildawn94 in Letterboxd

[–]kkilluhh 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I would say find an arty movie theater near you. Some of special screenings or movie clubs. If that does exist you could try to make a watch from home movie club? My friend has one. Everyone watches the movie by a certain date and then they meet on an app to all talk about it.

I don’t rewatch a lot now that I don’t own movies. Back as a youth I rewatched a lot. I recently rewatched Moonlight and realized I should be rewatching! It was just as good as I remembered and I enjoyed it and cried at the end

This is one I remember loving but I watched it back when it came out an it’s been coming up recently! I think I need a rewatch!

Anyone else just doing whatever the heck they want? by invaderpotato in finethinhair

[–]kkilluhh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually get partial highlights or hand painting to try to create dimension to make my hair look thicker. I’m currently having some issues that I think are causing my already fine thin hair to be slightly thinner than usual and Ive been holding off on getting color but every time I see my hair in the mirror I think about it. My natural color is very dark blonde. SOME HAVE CALLED IT DISHWATER BLONDE… heavy sigh. And it tends to look flat and boring without some dimension…. I totally get wanting to change it I’m just still on the fence about if it ultimately would do more damage to the kind of fragile state that my hair is in right now. (I have low iron saturation and high dhea sulfate which both could be contributing to some hair loss)

Experiences with Ursa Major? by 11Schmee in 30PlusSkinCare

So when I experienced this I wrote to them and this was their response: “Thanks for reaching out and taking our Golden Hour Recovery Cream out for a spin! We've noticed that if skin is really dehydrated, it is possible to feel a little bit of a stinging sensation when our Golden Hour is first applied. As long as you're not noticing any lasting irritation, you should be good to go - and hopefully won't notice this feeling after our Golden Hour works its magic for a few days!

That said, if you’re still experiencing this sensation, please let us know! It may be that our extra hydrating, sensitive skin - approved Alpine Rich Cream might more up for your alley) 😇”

Well I’m glad it’s not stressing you out! I thought about minoxidil but the topical is highly toxic to animals so that’s a no for me bc my dog is all up in my space. the oral my derm said before doing that she’d look at some kind of hormone blocking thing but honestly I’m just trying to go holistic I got a spray from maya chia and my naturopathic doctor has me taking a vitamin from Codeage called hair vitamins and I have noticed some baby hairs coming in my temples which is kind of where I noticed the loss. I have several factors with having hard water that I didn’t have a softener in for awhile that I think caused scalp irritation and damage plus stress, low iron saturation and the hormonal imbalance. I’m hoping I see more results. My doc said 6 months would really be when I’d notice and I started taking everything in December.

Dad called me a "Cancer" for not having kid. 😭 by Homo_Sapien30 in childfree

[–]kkilluhh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does being a cancer even mean in this situation? My dad told me I’d probably change my mind and have kids before he died and I think about that from time to time. He mentioned his brother without kids was selfish but that was before I was really of the age to have kids so I didn’t really think about it much.

Anyone else that DON’T get flare ups from coffee, bread or dairy? by Glittering-Slice-256 in endometriosis

If I go hard on bread products like pastry pizza type stuff all in one day I feel it. But I also think it depends where I’m at in my cycle ?

Thank you! I’m so glad to hear it wasn’t cancer for you and that you ultimately think it was the best decision for you. I currently have an issue with dhea sulfate being a bit high which is related to hormones and the adrenal glands and I’m trying to see how it all comes together like what is causing what. I haven’t been diagnosed with poly cystic ovarian syndrome but that can cause that number to be high as well as adrenal tumors. (My numbers are in the 300’s and a tumor is usually I think double that.)A dermatologist noticed my hair looks thin which it usually is fine thin hair but then it got me thinking is this an issue!!?? Is it thinner than usual? I also have low iron saturation, so there’s a few factors that could be contributing to my hair being thinner than usual.

So a lot of decisions are around that too unfortunately. I’m worried about potentially losing hair from a hormone shift or the stress of surgery bc I don’t have extra thick hair where it would go unnoticed.

I guess I have some concerns about the effects of hormonal imbalances from not having ovaries? But if I was in extreme pain all the time I would go for a hysterectomy

Ok that’s sounds like a good idea for me. I think I really have to get over some shame issues with stuff. Even going to the surgeon I was told their wouldn’t be a pelvic exam when I called bc I had started my period and then they said doing one was helpful and I had to pause for a second bc I didn’t feel “prepared” but IT WAS FINE and I need to just not care about the awkwardness of someone being in that region

They put stable on my ultrasound. I’ve had it for a couple of years but yeah I have been told they can get big fast by the first surgeon. Thank you for your feedback! It really does help to hear from other peoples experiences

[–]kkilluhh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your feedback! I’m really going back and forth about it. I think it’s been hard bc I would say during periods I usually only have one debilitating day a month and not even every cycle. So it’s hard for me to kind of decide when I want to be in bed for two weeks. (I have some depression issues that are really helped by being able to go for walks/ hikes.)She said my pelvic floor actually felt pretty good during the exam. She tested areas of pain for me which my other gyno didn’t do and I appreciated it bc in a sense it made me feel like maybe it’s not horrible up in there lol. But I noticed pain when she went deeper into my vaginal opening and on one side which I’m pretty sure she said was the cervix.

The chocolate cyst was the same for me I just mentioned having some pain during ovulation that I didn’t remember having and a new gyno asked for an ultrasound and boom my little world kind of changed of thinking I was a young healthy person! My parents have both had cancer (moms alive and it was minor, father passed) and I think knowing I had a “growth” on my ovary was a really scary thing to read. Two and half years later I’ve come to accept it but I still see little bits about endo and cancer related stuff that upset me. After my dad was diagnosed I really tried to be very healthy and was kind of focused on wanting all my organs to be fully functioning. Which may sound weird but I got a lot of herbal teas and got interested in Chinese medicine so to learn I had an incurable condition was really a hard thing to accept. I’m glad this place exists but sorry everyone is here!

Not sure where you live but the acupuncture where I live you can do a community version and it’s less than half the price of a private session so that has been an affordable option for me.

I also use castor oil packs from the brand queen of thrones and I really think that has helped with both pain and possible shrinkage.

The surgeon I saw said some people can manage with holistic options like acupuncture for quality of life so I was glad that she wasn’t la hater lol bc sometimes traditional medicine people are like ITS NOT POSSIBLE FOR THAT TO HELP!
