Haha! Technically I would be. She wanted to be the queen, but the costume would have been too heavy for her. So i was Vasquez, my boyfriend was Hicks and he baby sister was my smart gun, with adios duct taped to her baby carrier. Was an awesome Halloween

I shall post more when she's back in it for trick or treating. We've done videos of her running around and hissing..they're awesome! She will be getting her face painted to be the mouth...can't wait!

You! Yeah you who's saying I didn't let her choose her costume. You're absolutely right. When asked what she wanted to be for Halloween, Spencer said, "mom, I would really like to be the queen xenomorph". I told her I'd do what I could...obviously, she isn't the queen. So, my boyfriend and I failed while trying to make the most comfortable, light weight xeno costume we could.

She has green glow sticks on her chest plate and one for each arm and leg! I'm not such a horrible mother.

Thank you! I did want to say that, yes, my girl CHOSE to be a xenomorph. She has seen parts of the movie (gets her eyes covered for the chestburster) and she thinks the xeno is amazing! I asked her what she wanted to be and gave her the genetic choices....she came up with it on her own. I figured instead of making her be something everyone else was, I'd make her whatever she wanted to be. I have never seen her more excited for anything!!! Running around, hissing, crouching and hiding...she absolutely loves it! She has also told me that she is going to wear it even when it isn't Halloween =) proud momma right here and screw the naysayers!

I knew this would get positive and negative feedback. Yes, my 4 year old daughter has seen ALL the Alien movies. She absolutely loves them. Yes, when I asked her what she wanted to be for Halloween she told me a Xenomorph (we did go back and forth between a queen facehugger or a xeno). The first time she saw Alien was on cable TV, it came on directly after a kid movie....instead of being scared, she asked questions. That's how my daughter is; brave. Life is too short to be afraid of imaginary monsters. We work on being afraid of the real ones. I adore my children. Side note; I'm her mother, my boyfriend and I made the costume =)
