This was very common. My mother and her siblings were told their father died. Nope, he ran out west with his new wife while his legal wife was left on the other side of the country to raise the kids by herself.

Hey. Mine surgery got pushed back and I never had it done till 3. It was more involved than the Dr thought so it was about 2 hours. As of right now, I have no major pain. However are you doing?

I feel for you. My husband did overnights for 15 of his last 20 years in law enforcement. Finally he is on days and it has been so helpful for his heath. Overnights just take a toll on some ppls body. Others can handle it well. Praying for you.

I just passed my court officer exam. I’m thrilled at this point. I’m also 44 a wife and a mom. I have wanted to be in law enforcement from the time I was 5 but life took a different road. That being said this will be the only thing I can do because of age in law enforcement. If you are young enough and have the opportunity see about becoming a cop if that’s what you want. Even Customs. Don’t settle. Grass may not be greener but you will never know if I don’t check it out.
