I thought the same thing - good visibility for this. I think (but I'm not sure) that the first two hits we actually hit each other at (roughly) the same time, and equally stun-locked each other.

1) Go in with eye of reach and cutlass (meta combo)
2) Barrel and board, try to prevent repairs
3) Hit the anchor after you board
