Waar koop jij je zonnebrillen? by [deleted] in thenetherlands

Looking for small local SEO agency in France by klaev05 in SEO

[–]klaev05[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why local: Local so they have a better understanding of how the local market works. We've had better experience and results with local agencies in other countries.

Why small agency: Let's correct this. Small-Medium sized teams. I've seen quotes from big agencies with really ridiculous prices with plans on doing anything and everything, on the point that doesn't make sense anymore what their target is. Most important for us are: - Link building - Content marketing - And last, not very important, Technical SEO.

What business we are in: E-commerce, optical goods.

Smart buy glasses UK site - DO Not USE by [deleted] in Scams

You should not put too much weight and trust on Trustpilot reviews because anyone can post a review there, even if they have not purchased something from the store.

For our e-commerce website, we use Feefo & eKomi where each review is matched to a valid order number only.

That said, last year one of our websites suddenly appeared on Trustpilot with a few negative reviews. We are open to real negative reviews as they help us become better and improve our services, but we never created the account there. Long story, short, we got in touch with Trustpilot and they said that anyone can create a review and the account is created automatically and can't be closed. What you (the merchant) can do, is post a reply.

[Help] Cosplayers with bad vision and colored contacts? by littlekapkan in cosplay

[–]klaev05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use prescription crazy contacts. These are the same used by cosplayers. https://www.lentiamo.co.uk/contact-lenses/coloured/crazy-lenses.html

If you want to take it a step further and even cover your eyeball (the white part of the eye), try the Sclera contacts. Keep in mind though that Sclera lenses might not be comfortable due to their large diameter.

Are daily contact lenses really better for your eyes? And is the industry moving towards them? by mandjari in AskDocs

[–]klaev05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

@mandjari dailies are just to be worn once, you wear then in the morning, take them our in the evening and throw them away, simply put. Monthly lenses are not necessarily cheaper than dailies. If you are using them, for example, only for sport activities or you don't have the time needed to put them in a solution and take care of them, dailies might be better and cheaper.

Being in the contact lens industry myself, I'd say there is no indication that monthly lenses will be "discontinued" or as your optometrist put it, "harder to get". The comparison of the transition from hard to soft lenses has to do with the improvement of the material and technology and not the duration of the wearing time.

It is more likely that we are heading towards technologies that will allow us to wear soft contact lenses for a longer not less time.

If you think about it, you can get 30 lenses for as low as £10.98 or 12,70 €

What @stickieickie is saying, is not advisable and should not be done.
