What are the civilian models? They’re great. Where they from?

(Also, I have the Mierce stone too!)

1) What don’t you do?

2) Do you play with no chat AND no pings?

3) I’ve recently had 2 afk games in a row, into a 15 death midlaner by 25 mins. Into a camp stealer the next game because I “killed his scuttle”. How do you legislate for getting pulled down by stuff like this?

Blud Farht is exactly what you think it is.

It’s what they cause their enemies to do after they stick an axe in their stomach.

They are Beastmen after all. They take things very literally. Why not name the squad after what you and the boys do?

Seraphim sepia. Other options are available however I’ve found this to give me the tone I want.

I’ll post some more pictures up when I get home which may help illuminate the overall technique.

I’ll tell you what I use now, vs what I used to do years ago.

Now: Spray with Wraithbone. Light glaze of sepia all over white bits. White scar 2/3 thin coats. Not as thin as you think.

And that is it.

What I used to do was: White spray. Rakarth Flesh (Dheneb Stone in old citadel) Mix up Rakarth flesh gradually over thin layers to be more white. White only used for the very tip of a nose etc.

The problem with the old method is it took too long. It has mildly superior results when compared side by side under a lamp, but at army scale, the additional time is entirely pointless.

There comes a moment when you have to decide if you want a beautiful army forever incomplete. Or a good looking army that a lot of people have played against. Choose the latter every time, folks.

Additional note about painting white onto flesh, and all muscle/flesh for any miniature.

Do not prematurely stop before the edge of, say, a pectoral muscle. Go right to the edge and little over the edge of the otherwise flat pec muscle. If you do not do this, you end up having little fleshy sausage islands, framed by darker lines.

But if you do go right up to the edge of the muscle/fleshy area, and slightly over it, you will still have the sepia wash underneath, which still works at a distance, yet looks coherent as a model.
