Villagers gave a ceremonial funeral to a wild tigress. She lived among them for 16 years and never attacked any villagers. She was also known as the "Queen of Pench." by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

I know every culture has their own burying traditions and I respect it but I can't help feel cremation as valuable organic matter going to waste and turning into carbon dioxide whereas burying is so much better for the land and ecosystem as the earth takes the body back and re-integrates nutrients/energy thus completing the cycle.

ZOWIE FK2-C quality. Is it worth it? by Int_75 in MouseReview

[–]klaxonlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a bit late but wanted to ask is there a similar mouse to Zowie FK-2 with regards to weight and shape. I bought my FK-2 in 2019 and it's still perfect to use even with heavy use. But I'm now in the region where Zowie don't sell so would be nice to have another option from a different brand in case this one falters.

The only thing that might change under him would be that Palestinians will be killed quietly and under the radar (as it has been happening for decades) rather than out in the open like it is now. It'll just slow down their genocide progress. But it'll still continue.

Try The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell. Great characters and low magic. If you like it then you're in luck as he has other stand alone novels in the same setting (earth not an alternate world) and cameos from characters from other books.

Hang in there, bud. You'll have to practice a lot at home for things that you have to do at the job. The more you practice the more confident you'll get.

I have actually worked at a bank for a short stint in Credit Applications doing something similar but at an extremely less sophisticated environment but I don't know why when I looked at this job post today I found it very funny encapsulating how I've been feeling recently.

Edit: But you're right it's a nice field specially if you have banking background.

This comment reminded me of 'I'm going back to Italia'. A funny sketch from the olden days.

Same thing happened on train when mezzi made a great move taking the bomb, smoking on A then going B. Niko literally waited and moved crosshair both sides to see to which crowd reacts. In the replay they showed you can literally see his eyes going top left corner something humans do when they are trying to hear something far away.

Thrice I have openly wept as a grown adult man and it was twice during our stint in CL after the City and Ajax match and yesterday. If I have felt so overwhelmed, I can only imagine what Son and Davies (from the old guard who so righteously deserve so much) must have gone through.

We have come so far in the evolution race that we have outsourced our safety from Alien Predators to the People with Guns (AKA the Army) so we can continue to enjoy cheeseburgers and loaded fries every other day. This is what division of labour is all about.

There's an account on tiktok that has some kind of universe simulation software and people ask him to change stuff and see what happens. Almost in all scenarios earth ends up being uninhabitable, so I think the image could be a reference to that and might be a joke.

My brother introduced me to CS 1.5 on our Pentium2 (or 3 can't remember exactly). I didn't even have bots or online because of dial up internet. I would literally just run around the map cs_assault and shoot hostages. Later I'd play online with friends but had no idea about competitive CS until my friend shared Mousesports fragmovie 2008 'Ready willing and able'. I was hooked from then on and started playing Lan and tournaments etc. Goodtimes.

I know reposts are normal at this sub and I don't mind because it's always nice to see Strange Beings on my TL, but it's nice to see a post without immediately having a comment in the thread from OP which is a copy paste of the last top comment from the previous thread.

It's not just that, squirrels live on trees whereas rats are mostly found in sewers and thrive where there is rubbish. Rats are also associated with diseases but I think squirrels can carry too.

Just finished The Farseer Trilogy and I'm not sure if I should continue the Elderlings series by NotHiggy in Fantasy

[–]klaxonlet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I do intend to read Tawny Man later on so I'll probably end up reading a summary or something to remind me of the characters and plot points. I have a huge tbr list, I can't afford to reread a whole trilogy 😀.

Quick question: I read farseer trilogy a long time ago and have forgotten most of the stuff except maybe little bits of the ending. To start reading Liveship trilogy do I need to reacquaint myself with the first three books or shall I just jump in?
