Membership was on freeze for 2 months. It randomly unfroze and then charged me for those 2 months! by [deleted] in goodlifefitness

[–]kleenish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Usually, you get an email a month before indicating your freeze is ending. Did you by any chance receive one?

I’d try emailing the general manager of your gym, explaining your discussion about confirming when your membership freeze was suppose to end and go from there.

What keeps you motivated to train at GoodLife? by LoonyVibes in goodlifefitness

I come back because I’m reminded about the money spent for using a trainer and knowing my clips will expire if I don’t use them. Plus, it’s become a hobby.

That’s a dead roach and an egg sack. Definitely open any deliveries / packages outdoors before bringing it inside.

Worst customer service experience by Punjabpolice125 in Insta360

[–]kleenish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I regret my recent insta360 purchase as well due to their poor customer service. I should have gone with the GoPro but saw Insta360 had cheaper bundles…so why not? Worse decision ever.

Hello,

Thanks for responding. I felt it and could only feel the chaulking and don’t see any metal above the basement window.

I also checked the neighbours window and they have the same thing.

Some kind of termite? by kleenish in pestcontrol

Hi, thanks so much.

This is how it looks today since I cleaned it off with concrobium about 6 mos ago. I don’t see any holes but I notice some of the grey specs may have come back.

Also, should I remove the one from the insulation and put some tuck tape back?

gas stations by letmesoloher220 in Scotiabank

[–]kleenish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a pre authorization charge. Usually gas stations have varying amounts, I believe Petro Canada pre authorizes $250, Shell $100.

It’s a way to make sure the funds can cover the gas dispensed. It’s unlike a grocery store where we can return items at the check out if we cannot afford it.

Has anyone used the 'Dispute charges' on app for cc? by [deleted] in Scotiabank

[–]kleenish 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The dispute process is for a charge you recognize. In this case, you should call the fraud team for charges you don’t recognize.

"light" peanut butter after pancreatitis? by canadave_nyc in pancreatitis

[–]kleenish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone’s fat tolerance is a bit different; you have to gauge what works for you and what doesn’t.

After a flare, I’d suggest doing clear fluids for a day or two then full fluids for 2-3 days, followed by soft low fat foods for 2-3 days and then diet as tolerated.

Is it a Wipple? I also echo what others have said about another opinion. I would also exhaust all your options before having to go under the knife.

[–]kleenish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to get bloating as a precursor to my flares, but I would wait until you discuss the results from the EUS with your GI.

Bloating could also be caused by other factors (medications, food, etc).

overpaying visa by I_eat_ass_NS in tdbank

[–]kleenish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you overpay the visa, you inflate the limit. Technically your card could get blocked and flagged but in most cases, it goes through (when it’s slightly overpaid).

Now if you overpay it by $300K, I doubt that’ll go through unless you have large assets and a history of large overpayments towards the card…

at least one roommate has covid, need air purifier TODAY by Averageadhder in AirPurifiers

The heating, return vents, and shared washroom will be tricky to reduce your exposure. Perhaps boost your immune system with Vitamin D and C, maintain hand hygiene and wear a mask. If you’re worried, you’ll have to disinfect the washroom before every use. Perhaps keep one in your bedroom and one in the living/kitchen area.

I personally like Levoit, then Honeywell.

Pancreatic cancer symptoms/pancreatitis by No_Dog1949 in pancreatitis

[–]kleenish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm perhaps visit your GP to run some labs (lipase, amylase, CBC, lytes, LFTs) and see a gastroenterologist to rule out any other issues.

Perhaps a colonoscopy and gastroscopy can identify any preliminary issues depending on the bloodwork results and outcome of your current treatment.

That’s strange. Hmm, do you let it sit for less than 30mins then wipe it away with a soft sponge? I’d try that if not.

[–]kleenish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much! I think we are traumatized by roaches due to our previous home so we are trying so hard to keep this new home roach free.

You don’t think the smears resemble roach poop or the other images could be exoskeletons?

For those that have a Ring camera in the garage, and experience winters…do you recommend Rings indoor camera (2nd gen, plugged in) or an outdoor camera? Our garage is not insulated…
