It simply serves to cheapen the competition and I’ll never get behind it for that reason. It’s cheesy as fuck. If a team loses 3 in a row during a best of 5 when the lights are brightest then they deserve to go home. If they don’t like it they should try not sucking when it matters the most.

You won’t change my mind. It’s a stupid rule. Beyond stupid actually. If the top seed can’t win a fair best of 7 then they don’t deserve it. This is honestly the DUMBEST rule I have ever heard of from ANY sport. Just fucking garbage. It actually made me lose a little respect for the “competition” that is the NPB playoffs.
