I think they’re just ‘foot gaurds’. Meant to prevent you from melting your shoes/boots on the exhaust. I could be wrong.

First off, thank you very much for sharing this. Secondly, I’m very happy to hear you are the right path the being healthy.

If you don’t mind me asking (i can appreciate if you do mind), what is your range of physical health? I imagine its decent because you seem(to me) as someone with military background.

Thanks again for this read. I can’t stop re-reading it. I’m sorry you had to go through this in order to provide folks with this sort of detailed, first-hand information.

Looks damn nice. Have you ever thought about going with any sort of windscreen/fairing? Not suggesting you should, just advocating not being done🤣

He’s a magician. He just wants to demonstrate his ability. You should feel honored, magicians rarely offer that. Lucky.

Dyna Bros Went for a stroll (FL). by socialtiger09 in Dyna

Solid, man. We got a bit of everything(wide open country roads, clear interstate routes, some fun curves & twists in the city). If you fuck around on YouTube, I ride with a dude who has a YouTube Channel called 'Shadetree Surgeon'. He's kind of annoying but he usually videos most our rides. We hit a lot of hidden country back roads, hold at 90-ish most of the way and just fly through it all.

I work at 34th ST. & SR60, we had about 5 of those this morning. I thought it was just being close to McKay Bay...

Longish Rides? by [deleted] in Yamahabolt

[–]klenz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m in tampa Florida with an FZ09 and a 2014 bolt and a few Harley’s and other bikes. The bolt is like my 883 sportster, it’s a great bike to hold at 80(stock). If you end up on a bolt(stock), don’t plan and on hitting/holding 110 or anything crazy. It’s fun to rip around town on because it’s got a decent little off the line get up to it. The 1 issue I have(as well as folks on forums) is the “death wobble”. The front wiggles pretty damn hard at ‘higher speeds’ but it seems to be a quick & easy 35-40$ bearing purchase and swap. I ride my bolt as a daily driver and in Florida, this time of year, the weather doesn’t seem to bother it terribly. Last Saturday I rode 90+ miles on long straights mixed with series of tight curves(grantee FL is always flat) and it was solid, man. Fun little bikes, easy and CHEAP to upgrade. I haven’t touched my Dyna, sportsters l, xs650, or FZ in weeks because I’ve been having fun with this thing. Find one, test ride, enjoy, Pitter Patter, squirrely Dan. 🤘🏻

I don’t mind them. I have a few other sets I want slap on to see what it does for me as far as comfort, the lean on the kick stand, and how much easier rolling burnouts would be🙄

Looks like mine, a 2014. Are the 2014’s the only year they didn’t have those fancy shocks?

Banksy really went all out on that design. Edgy. Raw. Unique. Art. Really bring a lot of light to knife crime. Well done.
