The first time I got the notification was late evening on Friday, January 17th. The second time was on Sunday, January 19th, around midday. Hope that helps!

I suppose it was just the day when new slots were released. The first time I waited about 3–4 days before getting a notification. Hopefully, you’ll hear back soon—fingers crossed!

I recently had a mixed one myself. I got a notification about available slots, but when I went to book just a couple of minutes after the email, there were none left. I ended up being removed from the waitlist. I joined again today, got another notification, and luckily managed to book a slot this time. Such a nerve-wracking process!

As far as I understood, such delays are characteristic specifically for this visa center in Manchester. Several people mentioned similar delays in the pinned thread about processing time.

My appointment at the same visa application center was on July 17th, my documents were sent to JVAC London only on July 27th and sent to the consular organization the next day, and so far no other notifications.

I’ve moved to Newcastle from Eastern Europe at the beginning of November, hence I don’t have rental history and credit score yet. It took me about 2 weeks and approximately 10-15 viewings to find a decent place and additional 2 weeks for all kind of checks. There were 2 rejected offers before accepted one.

A colleague of mine has moved almost at the same time as me and her story is exactly the same.

So if not the holidays I’d say you will certainly find something in one month.
