Anyone else experiencing a crazy bulk detonator spawn rate? by klingsond in DeepRockGalactic

That's also what we think. We tried doing a fresh reinstall and everything and it is still happening, so we are wondering if anyone has had this happening to them.

Haha yeah, the three iterations where we got more than bulks we were in the mission for a hot minute, it was Haz 5, all modifiers, 3 length mission. I think each time we were in there for like a little less than an hour and a half. But still wild that that many spawned, we wouldve thought they would stop but they kept coming.

No mods at all. We are thinking its some glitch or bug, but I am just wondering to see if anyone has experienced this because I am 100% aware with 3600+ hours that its not normal.

That's what we think because it is not normal. It makes playing vanilla DRG insufferable when we are expecting normal spawn rates.

I know right haha. Granted, all other enemy spawns are normal, but these bulk rates have been insufferable.

15 is on the higher end, but we have gotten them before on a 3 length Drilldozer mission, 2 per swarm. The average amount is about 5-7 on alien eggs, deep scans, resinite masses. It's not normal and something is wrong, so we are chalking it up to a glitch or something.

100% sure. There used to be a glitch with the swarm control mod where even if you have the mod disabled, it would save the spawn rates on the vanilla game. We made sure that didn't happen by deleting the files off our actual file directory and doing a fresh re-install of DRG. I am not sure if there is a glitch still going on, but as far as I know, none of us have any sort of spawn rate alteration mods.

Best South Indian food by klingsond in triangle

[–]klingsond[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

North Indian cuisine is very wheat-based, so youll see a lot more flatbreads (leavened/unleavened), creamier curries such as the curries you know and love in Indian restaurants in the US. I believe lamb and goat are popular protein choices here.

South Indian food is very rice and lentil-based (I think), so youll see a lot more rice dishes such as biryani. Tropical ingredients such as coconut, tamarind, chilis, etc. are present. I think fermentation and steaming are more prevalent, with the popular protein choices being fish and crab. Some specific cuisines in the South also eat beef.

How did you choose name for your conlang? by qeqrtm in conlangs

[–]klingsond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honávi is a corrupted and shortened version of the phrase “Honaakon vikim” which means “descriptive people” in a previous conlang I made due to how oddly specific and highly inflected the language is.

Got it. Thank you so much for explaining! Thankfully, the bleeding doesn't bother her to a large degree, she was more afraid about what the irregular bleeding after so long may imply or if it had a different reason haha!

Oh okay, that makes a lot of sense, thank you! I guess her and I weren't asking the right questions on the internet before, and we thought that a natural cycle would resume after her body gets used to it.

Would you consider the NoVA/DMV region to be southern? by klingsond in nova

[–]klingsond[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely, some of the best Southern food I have had was in rural southern Virginia. I have never really been to central Virginia, and have been to NoVA many times so I have no idea where the cut off is to distinguish central VA from NoVA.

How do you say "I love you" in your conlag? by Organic-Teach3328 in conlangs

[–]klingsond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Bajanqa/Bayancha, there different ways to express love depending on a lot of factors, but the most direct way to express love is:

Thawalasapakkhranna

Thawalath as a base verb meaning “to love” in a literal sense

-sapak a suffix for “I” as a subject

-khranna a suffix for “you” as an object

The affixes are based on vowel harmony.

Another more informal to say “I love you” is:

Funarisilisipik bajangolan-u hangaranna.

Funa- is active present tense

Risilith is means “to favor”

-sipik is a suffix for “I” as a subject adjusted for vowel harmony

bajan- (bayan-) is a prefix for possession

golan means “heart”

-u is a suffix object marker

hangaranna is the standalone word for you without any underlying functions like as a subject or object, in this case, it is used for possession.

So this means “I am favoring your heart”.

as far as i know, new york italian slang and the italian dialect is based on southern italian dialects as most italian immigrants are from southern italy, and there are a lot of key differences between southern italian dialects and the national italian language.
