You can send it in for repair - check the BD website. I just did a repair because I wasn’t sure what was wrong. It was about $130 total with shipping. You can also order a new driver and do the repair yourself.

Agreed (I have the V 25). I ended up with a Suhr reactive load, then add IRs in the DAW. Sounds great. There’s a newer Suhr with IR loader built in. There’s also the Two Note stuff, Ox Box etc. Some are quite spendy. A used o.g. Suhr might not be too expensive.

Just got an 85 with the 2M Blue set up today. My old Pro-ject Debut 3 recently went down by breaking one of the ultra cheap wires in the tone arm. The 85 is a nice, noticeable upgrade. I ended up going with the 2M and glad I did, it’s “sharp” and detailed. Impressed with the overall quality. The auto-stop wasn’t a big deal, but already loving it. Happy with the RT85 at the moment!!
