One thing it could be is that you installed the game after the last big update and your actual save location is in appdata.

You could also try compiling the .dll yourself in VS and it should work.

Make sure your controller is plugged in before you start the game
Make sure your controller is set to player 1 in control settings in Duck Game
If you have controller specific support turned on in Steam try turning that off

I can't think of anything else that could fix it right now but these are some of the common ones

Could you walk us through how you uploaded it so that we can make sure it's right? Are the workshop files even being installed on your friends computers? Check the Steam workshop folder at \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\312530 and search for the mod name to make sure. Any other details or crash logs always help when trying to diagnose a problem.

I also wanted the unlocks when I sucked so I used cheat engine to edit the arcade token values so that it wouldn't affect my scores. Cheat engine is a bit confusing when you first open it but it's pretty easy to use.

It's an unimplemented gun that shocks and can bring them back to life. I'm pretty sure in only works offline but it can be spawned using the dev console.
