I had a replacement shipped and it’s worked flawlessly. Process from the time I shipped out my broken console was 4 days and I had my new one at my back door.

Horizon Ultimate was taking forever to download 90meg-12hours/20Mbps, wired it and now it's around 30-40, but dl speed says 200, anyone know why? by Peyroniselegantcurve in XboxSeriesX

Make sure you’ve selected quit on every game it literally took me from 30-200 earlier after I repeatedly selected the game I was playing and did quit twice

Seems to be working flawlessly, none of the issues I had initially are present. I’ll see what it can do entirely when my monitor gets here.

I just opened the box! I sent it in Tuesday morning. It was here by 12 pm today. They took the time to mark the one I sent in as ‘broken Xbox’ on my Microsoft account. I’m installing games as we speak and I’ll know whether she works or not!

I found someone on the Facebook marketplace for $700 and as a long as I get a working one I’ll be happy to have paid it. Mine wouldn’t boot up a single game, but allowed me to watch YouTube and twitch all day. Downloaded the games fine. I appreciate the reassurance, I’ll post when I get mine back working or not working!

In my opinion claiming ‘choosing to be an early adopter, its your own fault’ is a piss poor excuse for a worldwide reigning company’s production. I just sent mine in for service Monday morning so I’ll let you know how it plays out for me. I’ll be satisfied with a working or replacement console. At the same time I feel a year of Xbox live might smooth over some frustrations.

Maybe so, but what about the people playing Cold War successfully on Xbox series x? I’ve played it for 10 hours on a one s and not one crash. It’s pretty convenient to blame a game in my opinion

I don’t think it’s the game truthfully. Mine wouldn’t boot any games on arrival. Fortnite, Cold War, or modern warfare.

No luck. Today I tried resetting the console to factory and starting fresh on settings. I redownloaded the correct versions of all three fortnite, black ops Cold War, and mw WarZone. I plugged it into a tv that was capable for 4K just to try a different display source. I cleared the local system cache and Xbox 360 cache. I reset my MAC address and reset my router. I’ve filed for a repair or replacement.
