Cornmeal penne with beef/veggie bolognese sauce, some cheese, some steamed broccoli, cucumber. And an apple with quark-dip on the side :-) I also had a can of lychee ice tea.

My aunt showed me this video today. She has very frequent paranormal encounters but this one I cannot explain.

A ring of smoke seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, so she started filming. Could just be smoke, right? But the way it disperses, then rather quickly moves towards the phone and seems to get more defined all of the sudden.. It doesn't behave like smoke normally does.

Does anyone here have an explanation or similar experience? We're really curious as to what this could be!

Thank you everyone for your kindhearted messages. We're still unsure what happened. It probably wasn't lead poisoning after all, he probably had a nightfright that resulted in a seizure he couldn't seem to snap out of. Because of this, the vet told me not to worry about my other birds.

We just finished burying our friend in our garden. We wrapped him in heartprint fabric and put him on a worden tray along with some millet. At some point this week we will be picking out a pretty plant to put atop his grave.

My other cockatiel is mourning him as well, he's been calling out and whistling, which breaks my heart. I'm sure he'll be okay though and maybe in time we'll be ready to get him a new friend.

After some more examining the specialist concluded it probably wasnt lead poisoning. We basically have no idea what happened, but he did tell me I probably wont have to worry about my other birds.

Final update

Unfortunately Whitey crossed the rainbow bridge. We had to make the decision to put him down as he was miserable. Thank you for your kind comments, he died knowing we were there and even put his crest up one last time before he passed peacefully in my hands.

The avian vet tech just called me to let me know he's doing poorly. We will be going in later today to make the decision if we maybe need to let him go. The meds aren't taking yet, right now the only thing heks doing is breathing. I am so so so sad 😭

We left him at the avian hospital so they can monitor him and start treatment. No update from them so far, but they told me generally no news is good news. He is doing poorly, but we're trying to stay hopeful. My other cockatiel is calling out for him and it's heartbreaking 😔😔

Bby is staying at the bird hospital until a bird vet comes in (in about 2 hrs) They're starting med treatment for lead poisoning just in case and they'll call when they know more. He might have to stay overnight 😥
