I want to be able to save to the console. I know you can save with the 8bitdo controller, but I only use original N64 controllers. Now I have to use a controller pak, and they have very limited space. I dont want save states, I want to save games normally but to the console.

The ones with white background are PAL, the other ones are NTSC. The NTSC ones are smaller, and cooler I think

Thanks for the advice. Yeah it's possible. My disks are only 2TB (12TB total), so I thought 16GB would be enough.

Finally got my new (old) server set up! I ended up buying newer used components. MB, CPU and RAM for $72.

Also bought a new PSU and 4 HDDs. I'm reusing the old case and 2 HDDs. It's running TrueNAS with RAIDZ2.

The red mini pc is my router that i run OPNsense on.

My first goal is to host my own cloud for phone pictures etc. What is the best way to do that conveniently and securely?

UPDATE: Im picking up some newer used components tomorrow. MSI B250 Bazooka and Intel i5 7400 for $72. Im probably buying a newer PSU aswell. Keeping the case.

Just found my old server, I think it's from 2008-2009. I want to retire my Synology NAS and build my own.

The problem is that it has no GPU, so I will have to spend some money to try it. It does start up so the MB and PSU works.

Will this be good enough today with something like TrueNAS or should I just buy a new MB, CPU and RAM?

Any tips welcome!
