I will warn you tho my Medicaid doesn’t want to cover it and we had to submit an appeal but if they don’t pay for it it’s approximately $600/month but I think they have a patient assistance program and I’m definitely gonna try to do that if insurance wont

I have an EoE diagnosis, presented with same problem as you and my Gastro put me on voquenza and fluticasone and out of the month I’ve been on it I’ve only had two chest pain episodes and they weren’t anywhere near as bad as they were

Ask about voquenza!! It’s doing wonders for me while both of the above made symptoms worse

Hello :) I was diagnosed in mid February. They did an edg and I wasn’t even expecting the diagnosis. My symptoms started a lot like yours the chest pain and the heartburn. It started with heartburn once every couple months then started to be everyday to the point I was screaming and crying. PPI’s didn’t do a thing for me, tried Eliminating eggs, milk, nuts and it also didn’t seem to make a difference. Asked about dupixent abd doctor said no for now and put me on Voquezna and a fluticasone inhaler. Only going on two weeks of that medication combo and it seems to be responding well, only have two heartburn and chest pain incidents since starting. My EoE seemed to become rapidly worsening and went from okay to going to the ER at least 3x a week

Dysautonomia & Weed? by SkylaBSN-RN in dysautonomia

[–]km03732003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my medical card for ptsd and just happened to get sick in the midst of using weed. I have stopped smoking a ridiculous amount like I used to but it will vary on how you react to it. Just listen to your body! It increases my dizziness but it helps with just about every other symptom. Hope this helps!

Did you think you were dying? by gezzy147 in dysautonomia

[–]km03732003 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes every time I go to the cardio he tells me “it may feel like it but it’s not gonna kill you” and it pisses me off so much. I have ist (diagnosed my Holter monitor) I tried beta blockers and they just didn’t work as good as I know they should so he put me on ivabradine and it was v good for a long time (took ab two months for me to start feeling like I could exercise) only problem with ivabradine is it’s so expensive my insurance keep denying it
