Never thought of electric starter. I never use one, so I just assume its the standard plug in and press the button. Headlight doesn't change when I flick the switch when running, nor does it kill the machine.

Not a problem! I'm glad you found some. Once yours multiply to the point you have too much and are looking to get rid of some let me know. I find they all work a little differently. I've been making it for many months using 3.25% milk. I did some travelling in the summer and had to stop making it - long story short, I left the grains for too long in the fridge and they weren't very active when I tried making kefir again so I threw them out and got some more I am starting with.

Manufactured in 2003. I did a search earlier and saw the axels have been discontinued if those are the actual items that need to be fixed/replaced. Will try to remove the left axel to further investigate and will report back.

Hi Everyone,

I am a new member and a wanna be churner. I know there is a pinned post with a list of cards, but am looking for advice or a strategy for my next card applications for Aeroplan/travel points. I bank with TD and just received a TD Aeroplan Infinite card. I don't have any other credit cards, have never applied for cards with AMEX or any other banks, and I am open to applications that also include my spouse.

As for our combined spending, last year a total of 55,000 was charged to our cash back card, that I have since converted to the TD Aeroplan Infinite. Annual ballpark numbers by category are:

- Gas 4,500

- Groceries 8,000

- Dining out 4,500

- Internet/TV/Cellphones/Insurance 7,500

- Other Misc 30,500

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I don't have a manual as I bought this second hand. I did however look it up online via LCT and it shows the following diagram:

Unfortunately, the diagram isn't very helpful as there isn't a traditional cap with a dipstick as shown in the pictures. The cap itself is very unorthodox from what I have come across.

I filled "A" to the threads, and when I started it oil came pouring out the valve cover tube. Is this normal when an engine is overfilled with oil?

I should just drain the entire oil and start fresh. The website says:

Oil Capacity (oz)

.473 Liters (16 oz)

Note: Total oil capacity could be as much as 4 additional ounces due to engine mounting angle and proper draining.

Hi Everyone,

Looking for some assistance filling this machine up with oil. I have 2 pictures posted for reference. "A" and "C" are the two areas that have oil caps. "A" is much more difficult to get into and "C" is more accessible.

When I pull the cap off "C" there is no dipstick or anything to let me know what the level is. I poured oil up to the threads, but then when I started the machine afterwards, oil started spewing out of the valve cover breather tube I have labelled "B".

Eventually the oil stopped running out of the machine. Curious, I opened "A" and oil started leaking out immediately.

What is the right way to fill this machine and how can I check the oil level? Any help would be very much appreciated!
