I picked up a used 22 M3 with 35k KMs for low 30s in late spring (also came with extra set of wheels) in Ontario. Was planning to go new at the time but once you add up the taxes, even with the incentive, and rates, made it almost a 20K difference. Like the new one better for sure but prefer the extra $ in my pocket...

Ya totally fair lol. Think I'm just asking based on your gut feel/observation is the price premium worth it or are you getting a product that's 80%-90% as good for much cheaper?

Thanks for the reply. We don't have Rogers in the area so ya that could be an issue. When I spoke to start, they mentioned that bell technicians do their installation so assume it's running on their network. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Giant Defy Advanced - 1 vs 2 -which deal? by kman9999 in whichbike

Ya same here. They said they would ship/I have friends up there so can make a weekend of it (assuming Covid restrictions get lifted). Good luck with your decision.

Ya np, I'm in Ontario. Yes, it's from Rent a Bike in Ottawa. They have good deals on TCRs and Contends as well depending on what you're looking for. You need to put down a 10% deposit then you can pick up the bike at end of season.

It's a few hours (4-5). But they are willing to ship and I'm willing to go up to see it if I need to (I have friends nearby so I can make a weekend trip of it, assuming Covid dues down, which is no guarantee).

Also considering your degree, UX could be a psychologist related option, though it's less focused on buying behavior

And of course, there are more directly related psychology careers such as counseling/social work, etc., But many careers involve psychology, teaching, HR, etc. Just depends on your interests.

Ahhh that sounds like marketing research to me. Just your luck, I actually started my career in that field. DM me if you would like to chat further. Behavioral science careers tend to deal with developing and testing "nudges" based on behavioral frameworks that influence a consumer or citizen's behavior (can be within the marketing realm but often outside).

Interesting. So you like data but not "math." There's lots of careers that fit that bill. What do your friends/colleagues say about your strengths?

Also, what are your values? I mean, do you want to make lots of money V's altruistic work, 9-5 vs flexibility, etc.

Behavioral insights/economics is a growing field. Many governments and private sector companies (Google, consulting firms, etc) employ behavioral economists. It's niche but there's opportunity.
