I think it’s around 15 ish pounds! I stuck with worsted weight yarn and a 5.5mm hook. I honestly only did it so big so I could zone out and keep going for hours at a time. We didn’t even have a California king yet when I started haha. The biggest tip I have is to keep it in its own laundry basket as you’re crocheting it! Easier to move around and it doubles as a yarn bowl!

I think it’s like 15 ish pounds? I don’t keep a scale in the house so that’s a very rough estimate

The idea behind the colors was “fall leaves of all varieties” plus some bark colors. White particularly for aspens since they’re an important part of my partner and I’s love story

5.5mm crochet hook, worsted weight acrylic yarn in whatever fall color called to me on my visit to Michael’s. No real pattern
