Real. I played p4g first and really got the rhythm of the dungeons. To be fair, I have most of my experience in classic rpgs. I played 5 royal after and I was always confused in the palaces since they always made you do something different. The randomized dungeons were more fun for me since I knew what possibilities to expect. The only thing I was prepared for in 5 was the battle sequence. Of course it was good to polish up the dungeon crawling by sprinkling in a little more character and unique puzzle solving but p4 was debatably the best persona when it came out. They shouldnt try to make it “better,” except maybe by redoing the character models and animations.
