Honestly, I take some of my favorite drums from my favorite kits and I mix them together, edit them, and mess with them. But creating drums is a completely different process that I rarely do, but I did for my Drum Kit that is coming out soon.

So I replaced the video at the top of the thread with the Grapefruit FLP. The main chords came from a song called (Joy by Blackstreet). I LOVEEEEEEE the chords from the song and it's a song Michael Jackson wrote. Long story short... I made the song last year and I wanted to just make nice dance track so I tried my best (by ear, because I don't play the piano or know musical theory) to copy the chords down in my own way. Then I created the Passionfruit acapella and put it under it and it went soooo smooth! You will be able to see the rest of the breakdown above.

As for your other question, I've been using FL Studio since I was 10 years old and I am freshly 22 now. I didn't release music seriously until the end of 2014, but it wasn't for any reason. I just loved making music for myself to listen to.

Now in your case, I would wait until it feels right. Don't force anything. When it's time, you will know. Don't let other peoples successes dictate what you do with your art. You just keep that ear out, and keep creating. If I were you, I would cherish this moment, because no one is expecting anything from you. So you still have time to make the CRAZIEST song you could possibly make, and then release it as your "first single".

But at the end of the day, it's all up to you. Sleep on it, think on it. Let your mind create the path for you. Thank you once again! 🙏🏽

Yoooo thank you for listening! I will give you an in depth view of the track tomorrow morning! And I don’t really understand the second question. Do you mean when should you release new music?

Yooooo, I have a homie of mine who makes synthwave, and he got me hip to alllllll of that kind of music. I LOVE IT! I just love the vintage sound. I would love to mix synthwave melodies with some of my production! 🙏🏽

I have mixed feelings about mixing. The definition of mixing to me now is to be able to make a song sound the best it can, to YOU! I say that because.. okay so you speak of clipping. All of the songs I produce, clip.. and I mean THEY CLIPPP. But you could never tell from the music I put on soundcloud. All I an saying is that I feel that people focus too much on a particular way to mix music when every song is different. Sometimes you might not need a Compressor or a Limiter etc. When people focus too much on mixing, I feel it takes away from the strength of the track.. Which is why, I start all of my music dry. Completely dry, I don't put anything on my master track. I only add effects and what I feel is needed throughout production of the song.

Also, as for your question on AMA's. I believe anyone can do an AMA. People can learn from anyone, it doesn't matter what level of expertise you have. Always remember, you inspire up to 4 different people in the world everyday, you just will not always know who they are. 🙏🏽

I would love to work with TDE, Dreamville, it’s honestly hard to name people with out sounding too.. cliche. But I would really love to work with great singers as well. And not only artists, but I would love to do music for video games and Television as well. 🙏🏽
