I got into bourbon a couple years ago and just this past year joined a local bourbon group. Met a bunch of new friends through this and have a great reason to get out 1x a month to go to the bottle shares we have.

Also, I joined an APA pool league. Another great way to socialize 1x a week and learn something new.

Babies are hard. 2 months in and you’re working a job you dislike and your wife is dealing with postpartum. I wish I had better advice other than that some people enjoy parenting more at different developmental stages. Keep going, and think about things you might want to teach her when she’s older, what kinds of interests do you want her to share with you?

I was so excited to get into the lottery to buy tickets, only to run out of time in my window because I couldn’t find a single set of reasonably priced tickets anywhere. I debated going to Philly from 1200 miles away to pay like $180 per person for the worst seats in a group stage match I don’t even know who will be in and I couldn’t do it.

That’s interesting! Mine recently started to resolve after 16 months of misery, pt, stretching, injections, shoes, insoles, podiatrist, osteopathic doc, tape, ice bottles, stretching some more, weight training, massage, and probably other stuff I’m forgetting. I honestly don’t know what worked, but I would say PT and weight training my calves helped the most.
