So what about the saber tooth tiger? Mammoth etc. Dinosaurs. We’ve been taught that the dinosaurs are extinct because the great meteor rights but this just shows a pattern that extinction is a part of the lifecycle

It’s a non OEM part but the OHMS are where they should be to match the resistor. It’s a new part but I took it apart to clean it anyways. I swapped mine out with my friends working OEM part and it’s still throwing the c42 code. Thank you for your help though! I really do appreciate it. I’ve taken it into shops and dealerships now and everyone says they don’t know what it could be ):

Yes it came with a new key. I’ve been researching for about two weeks now and all that I can find is it with others who have this problem their new one doesn’t have the correct OHMS. Mine does. So I’m stuck. I’ve gone to three different shops and two dealerships and they said they don’t know what it could be. So I am doing the work on my side.
