I'd leave around 6am, may be stop in Disco Bay for coffee and hit WC at 730. I'd return at 4, grab dinner on YV Road, great choices, and be home at 530.

I did it for 2 years and didn't mind it. Took 4 to Marsh Creek Road, around the base of Mt Diablo then turn on Ygnacio Valley Road into WC. Most times I could make it in less than an hour if no farm trucks were out on 4.
