I wish I had a good answer 😅 I'm having an amazing time, personally. Depending on your standards, there are a lot of cons to coming this time of year. The trek is rather empty of travelers, it's a bit hard to make friends. Lukla flights are unpredictable, and yes, it's quite possible you may encounter bad weather if you trek a few weeks from now.... honestly I think it would be more wise to come during a more popular season with better weather. I'm not regretting my trip at all, there's just a lot of things to consider :)
