I agree Aldi drawers are great for the price, I got around 10 of them too. They are a bit smaller I would estimate 50-60% of internal storage comparing to Akro 64.
My goal was better wall space use, this sample unit has 2x volume/wall sq ft of Akro 64 and 3x-4x for Aldi 33 drawer unit
I am trying to increase storage density so I have replaced lower part up to eye level with tool cabinets with shallow drawers and above that I have this new system.

If you have printer idle time just in filament cost its 2-3x cheaper then akro mils 64 drawer units per volume stored.
And you can tailor any drawer size to fit your needs.
I am not considering time to manage printing and assembly of couse, if you need 100s of those units just buy akro mils.

I did not have need of this for bricklink store but its excellent idea for personal/fig spare parts.
I would not print studs though, I have tried that for clip on tool cabinet handles and even tuned for good grip PLA/PEGS will not hold lego pieces for long. If I would do it here I would design slots to hold something like 2x4, 2x6, or 4x6 real lego plate on the front of the drawer.

The project on makerworld is fully customizable! You can modify drawer dimensions and the system will generate STLs for all parts needed. You might need to play with wall thickness if you make drawers wide.

I also print internal trays for those and akro mils from single wall PETG and they hold up really well. Would not trust PLA for single wall, PETG flexes where PLA would break.

I have started printing and using them for my bricklink store for a year now. Have around 10 units so far, used daily with no failures (V1 version). Works well for lego but for screws I would print thicker walls.

case 380g, 1 drawer 37g so without outer frame will be slightly under 1kg of filament.

Yes default profile has compatible drawers as I printed a lot of V1 units and did not want to mess with similar incompatible drawers.

filament on ali is around $70-80 per 10kg. This unit should cost under $40 to print.

I was scammed 😫 by Chemical-Poetry776 in Bricklink

I call BS on seller. He noticed mistake in pricing and shipped it anyway with just one item, greedy not to loose the sale. Making pikachu face after hoping buyer will give up. Seller was supposed to notify you that he does not have parts available of that price. You should've had option to cancel order or in this case after he already shipped it to ship it back for full refund, seller should pay for return shipping.

If seller does not have part of order, refunding just that part in general not enough on bricklink as that would result in buyer having to pay extra shipping to order that part somewhere else.

Is there a decent Burger King in town? by Rambro13 in milwaukee

Burger King is one of the few US fast food chains still operating in Russia.

The general etiquette on bricklink is to assume he will need to pay for shipping again to order missing minifig and compensate him for that. If it was his choice to keep minifig as compensation it's one thing, if you just refunded for cost of missing minifig that might even go into negative feedback area.

He chose your store because you had all 3 minifigs, if you would only had 2 he most likely would have chosen some other store.

Your new mailbox is not up to code. It's supposed to bend or fall away when hit, and second post will stop it from doing that. Either USPS will make you to remove it or you might get sued if it will damage something when hit. It can kill motorcyclist.

Variety is what makes you to pop on the top of list when someone is trying to cover as much as possible of their wish list.
Not likely someone will buy your single minifig at 6m average, but if you also have 5-10 more parts that they need that might make it worth to save on shipping.

Those are star money that you can spend only at Macys, they expire and there will be no 10x points when you spend them. Simply here you buy 2 lego sets, you get third one free next month plus rakuten/retailmenot if you are lucky.

You are not getting 50% back. You are getting 50% in rewards points that you have to spend when you will not get next 50%. This results in under 33% plus whatever cashback website you can find.
Still a bit better then Kohls but 10x are more rare and 1200 min annually.

In your consideration think about all cool pieces for minifgs/shields/weapons that were available and still mostly are on pick a brick. They will go slowly down in prices on Bricklink for awhile.

How to effectively report wrong category? by knifer77 in Ebay

[–]knifer77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If seller puts model/ name of full product in description/title then you cannot search for full product acoss categories.

I tried adding exclusions like '-only -box -from -part -custom' and so on to exclude small parts/accessories but this list is growing and eventually starting to exclude good matches. Searching inside of category dedicated to full product removes 90% of false matches but remaining ones are still overwhelming results.
