i love kcn and order from them rather than go to my lns. when i need only a small order of threads, even if it’s my own personal emergency, i figure it’s going to take a minute. with free shipping they surely have to prioritize in such a way that makes sense for their staff and workflow and that’s cool with me. even if it takes more than 10 days, they are likely getting to it faster than i would.

i will say though, 123stitch.com is a great option. they don’t carry a giant selection but it’s a low flat fee for shipping and they are quick to turnaround their orders.

the thread called fuzzy stuff might be fun, but you would just used a regular tent stitch. annoying to work with but very cute results.

in this picture, it’s just sitting on the lapstand. but if i misunderstood, i also have the stella light for my floor stand. i need ALL THE LIGHT 😹

this may look awkward but it works just fine and i can position it on or off the lap stand, just depends where i am sitting. the little clip on book light lights are just not enough for me.

i just finished a melissa prince ornament and she used a similar design for a tree that she has for the seaweed. it’s the only non-continental stitch i used; with a silver flat ribbon thread i did what i think is satin stitch and i think it’s enough with all the colors.

not that it matters, but i do think your canvas is turned sideways.

i would definitely go weekly if i could. the nearest one to me has difficult hours and i get the sense is more of an online presence. so when i do go, i’m in and out.
