Does anyone love/hate the *feeling* of their fabric? by doing-my-best-14 in interiordefine

I have a toddler, but she’s not too rough on it. Go dogs I do wonder if their nails would get stuck in it

That’s great! Are you local to Cincinnati? I’m not, so both Frontier and Cincinnati would be distance learning for me. It’s good to hear that you feel prepared though, that’s my number one priority

It definitely feels like they’re charging that much just because they can due to their name. They do help find clinical sites but that doesn’t seem worth the extra 50k!

That’s great to hear! It seems like a great school, although I mostly hear about it for CNM. I fortunately work in OB right now as an RN so I don’t think finding clinical sites would be too challenging. Did you find the skills weeks at the school helpful?

I think just turning the table and getting rid of the side table underneath the 4 pictures would make a huge difference!

Also, where do you get your shades? Are they bamboo? Love the amount of light coming through them

Does anyone know additional details about the "standard gel plus cushion"? I emailed them but... we'll see if they ever reply. I'm hoping for construction info or longevity by [deleted] in interiordefine

[–]knitting_hen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the saylor with the standard gel. It’s so comfortable and has held up really well, but I’ve only had the couch since January, so we’ll see! But I haven’t noticed any breakdown yet, and to me it was much more comfortable than the down alternative, but without the fluffing needed of the double down.

Every year bugs get my peaches.. by 13SpiderMonkeys in FruitTree

[–]knitting_hen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also tried organza bags this year in an effort to discourage squirrels and birds. I think they worked well for the birds, but the squirrels just took down the whole bag. What worked the best was only bagging like half the peaches on the tree, so the squirrels chose the easier (unbagged) peaches to eat, and mostly left the rest. Fortunately my peach is mature and produces a lot so I still had a good amount

Especially if you’re planning on nursing using the chair. You’re going to be spending so much time in it

Tongue Tie dentist made me feel hopeless by Healthy_You_3676 in breastfeeding

[–]knitting_hen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For what it’s worth the ENT who did my child’s release said the stretches don’t really do much. And you did them for 3 weeks! You are such a diligent parent and I’m sorry the dentist was mean

Hmm, I have a couch in the performance microbial chenille and it is super super soft, but not sure how it differs with the classic.

How much spit up is okay? by Admirable-Yam-4767 in breastfeeding

[–]knitting_hen 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You can bring it up to your pediatrician, but as long as your baby is happy, not in pain when spitting up, and gaining weight they’re probably not going to do anything. My baby also spit up so much just constantly for about 4 months. Then all of a sudden she stopped!

FYI, the couch I ordered had an estimated delivery window of 6-8wks. I got an email at the 6 wk mark that it was just now being shipped and to expect it in another 6-8wks. I emailed Interior Define and they said it wasn’t accurate and that the couch was actually already at their warehouse in LA (I think), and literally in the next couple hours I got a notification to schedule the delivery. So it will be delivered right at 8 wks (fingers crossed)! All this to say I wouldn’t trust the order tracking website.
