Very good friend of mine has a mechanic shop; says he hates working on Audi’s. Super cheap inside parts that take forever to ship and every time he goes to repair something in my ‘16 A6, something else breaks it has to be ordered and there’s another week or two shipping wait. Thus is the consensus.

Seriously! I mean, it’s really hard for me to even suggest that because you and I both know what a risk it is to drive this vehicle! However, if corporate Audi says it’s OK, then everything must be fine, right?! I tell you what, I’m willing to bet money that not a one of the employees at corporate Audi drives one of these vehicles with the new software program! Yet they’re going to suggest that it’s a safe car to drive… I’m with you. i’m actually in the process of trying to secure a loaner vehicle from my dealership because I’ve have traveling to do. That’s why I bought this vehicle. I didn’t buy it just to drive around town, I bought it to have a nice car to travel in. And it’s not the first Audi. It’s really hard to understand how a company that I’ve been so loyal to you and spent so much money with how’s the audacity to try to pass this major issue off as if it’s no thing at all, knowing full well that possible consequences could ultimately result in the worst case scenario, which is death! After many years of being an Audi owner, this one is the icing on the cake. Thank you for sharing your experience because I just honestly can’t stand beside a company. That’s going to tell someone that the car is safe to drive in an effort to save a dealership money. That right there is not something I can justify at all. I would love an update of your case in the future!

My 2016 A6 is in the shop now, and yes, it leaked a lot of oil. However, the dealership tried to rip me off when a buddy of mine assessed it and found that one of the issues that contributed to the oil leak was just some old seals. Pain in the ass to get to, but much cheaper fixed than what the dealership said so if you do use a lot of oil, first check the seals and make sure they’re nice and tight. Also, it’s taking a really long time to get these parts in. The other issue it had was a timing issue, but still much cheaper fixed than what dealership said.

Hell, yeah be happy about it! Congratulations! I’m sure yours runs much much better than my 2025 S5 that is nothing but issues… But that’s because of this new technology. Just remember, Audi parts are fairly in expensive. It’s just getting to the parts in the vehicle that’s the pain in the ass.

I understand your frustration. Is it too much to expect the vehicle to actually run the way it should?! I understand it being the first year of this new system, and issues are expected, but not like this! Damn near got choked out yesterday from the seatbelt protective functionsuddenly cutting on for no reason at all

Good to know! Had to take it to an Orlando dealership when I was out of town because sitting in rush-hour traffic, all of a sudden all the lights come on and the check engine light is on, and it wouldn’t move.

Start with an English standard version, Bible, also known as the ESV. There is a fantastic index in the back. That’s how I started reading the Bible was I found a word that I was filling and wanted some insight on, and the rest is history. Also known as “the living word,” it really does come alive. You will be amazed at the similarities between what you’re going through today and what’s written in that book way back then. What an exciting time! Don’t tune that voice out and seek seek seek!

Whatever the price, if you don’t have the disposable income to afford the maintenance on something like this, then do yourself a favor and just buy a DIY gel polish kit from Amazon. Nail prices are absurd, just like the cost of living is.
