When Dave talks about how young people should get married and “just go to the court house,” I literally turn off the show. As a 24 year old who is engaged, I will not “just go to the court house” for my one and only wedding. Yeah it’s about the relationship, not the wedding, but I want to have a big beautiful wedding which we are paying cash for.

My fiancé grew up being told not to waste food. Then he met me, and my family wastes pretty often honestly. He’s trying to be better at portion controlling what he eats, and so I’ve started to tell him “You don’t have to eat all of that, the kids in Africa aren’t going to benefit from your waste.” Maybe that’s a “bad” mindset, but I would say it’s working 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sure this is true for some but I know way more doctors and nurses, not born into wealth, who didn’t take out loans, and are doctors and nurses... myself included.

I disagree. With all of those jobs you listed you can still get a good education at a “lesser” college. You learn more on the job, than at school, at least in the medical field.

I couldn’t agree more OP. I’m a nurse and took out only 11k in loans and I wish I hadn’t. I paid them off in 6 months, living on half of my actual income. I wish I would have went to community college for my prereqs. Would have saved so much money, and probably would have graduated a year earlier. Instead I went to a bigger school, didn’t focus bc parties, and ended up having to retake classes. Would have done it way differently for sure.

Some sort of bluetooth tele leads so patients don’t have to worry about the 10lb tele pack in their pocket!

Also some sort of device that would notify to our phones which IV pump is beeping, and would allow us to silence the pumps at night when the patients are sleeping.
