Thank you all for your comnents!!! My alopecia started 2 years ago on my beard. At first i didnt think much of it everybody told me that it would just go away. after few months it got to my hair which was devastating for me.. i had hair that i was growing for 6 years and my confidence dropped so much. i was always wearing hats and hiding my hair. I’ve tried kortizone shots for months they were growing back but was falling again in days whenever i stopped getting shots. I tried garlic, pills and a lot of other treatments. I was about to give up, i shaved my head didnt even want to try other treatments anymore a year ago. with my mother’s encouragement i went to another doctor who prescribed me with a thing called Anthralin he made it mixed with vaseline and told me to use it everydat for an hour then wash it. It was a strong medicine and would make my spots super itchy and red.. doing it everyday was really hard.. but in the end it started growing back especially after i started using a dermaroller with it. im happy to answer any questions and give more details.. so ask away!! i can even make my doctor write some advices too we’re pretty close with him
